Wall Street ended lower on September 23 as rising Treasury yields and renewed Middle East tensions weighed on equities, with Alphabet and Amazon among the drags. Reuters reported oil prices rose almost 4% after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran would not surrender to U.S. pressure.
