India's rupee and government bonds entered the September 28 holiday-shortened week under renewed pressure as oil rose, global bond yields remained near multi-year highs and markets increased bets on an RBI rate increase next week. Reuters reported the rupee had closed Friday at 95.8150 per dollar. Piplix already covers the 96 level and reported RBI dollar sales, so this is an update.
